Distance to IC 1687: 231Mly
In a scene reminiscent of the famous Markarian Chain, a central star in Pisces, SAO 54647*, is surrounded by an unnamed cluster of galaxies, mainly NGC's in the upper 400 to lower 500 range (NGC 507 near the center).
After imaging M33 on the evening of November 28 to test the Optolong L-Pro light pollution filter, I noticed this cluster to the upper right on the sky chart.
