Images taken between 4:33:51am and 5:31:36am MST (UT -7) 23-Dec-2012. The comet as of this photo is in Gemini, approx. 4 min. NE of Pollux. Coordinates of the comet in the mid-point image, taken at 4:58:35am MST, are RA: 07h 59m 17.8s; DEC: +30d 18m 14.1s (J2000).

The above image field-of-view is 22' 41" x 17' 08". So, it's moving only about 12 min. a day.

Original FITS images were 5 - 1 minute exposures binned 2x2, captured with the SBIG STF-8300M using TheSkyXPro's Camera Add-On. Dark subtraction, alignment and stretching in ImagesPlus 5.0. The resulting tifs were reduced to 50% then ran through Ulead GIF Animator 2.0 to create the movie.
