Over the Labor Day weekend, Kathy and I were fortunate enough to be guests of Keenan and Cindy Strand at their residence in Happy Jack. Black skies at night, sunny blue skies by day.

We had a visual only (set aside the camera and computer) star party the second night there and it was a hit!
Saturn, Mars. Moon, Albireo, M17, M8, M20, M22, M57 (Ring Nebula), M31/32 (Andromeda Galaxy), Double Cluster. Solar viewing the next morning (see photo "Sunspots").
