In 1986 Frank Sander's R-4360 powered Sea Fury, Dreadnought, was at the Reno Air Races and walked away from the competition, winning the championship. The larger, more-powerful engine resulted in an aircraft that is truly phenomenal. Now raced by Frank's sons, Brian and Dennis, Dreadnought is one of the most consistent racers around the course. It is not the fastest, but to win you have to get around it.
