A very rare sight. A Vietnam era McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom fighter during a flight demo at the Reno Air Races in 2004. This aircraft was being used by the USAF in a joint exercise with the Germany Luftwaffe. Rumor has it that after the exercise is finished, the aircraft will go to the scrapyard. A less than fitting end for a 35-year-old workhorse.
