Baiting!!

This heron had caught a dragonfly but did not eat it. Instead it would dip the dragonfly into the water, presumably to 'bait' a fish to within striking distance.




Earlier it had used a water bug or small fish (difficult to identify because of the condition) to do the same thing.

Neither baiting attempt was successful.
