Many carp were busy spawning around old logs that were floating in the lake.

Some of the carp were huge. The resident heron will not be able to swallow these guys (& gals).

Just another reason for not dangling my tippy-toes into the murky waters of Mud Lake. Superb capture of these enormous fish. Almost three feet long? I know it took a lot of patience to get these shots. Excellent lighting and tack sharp. Well done!
