The larger owlet finally stepped out onto a branch near the nest cavity.



Once there it took some baby steps towards the end of the branch.



Unfortunately, when it wanted to get back into the nest its sibling blocked the entrance. The mother owl was also in the cavity (bottom right corner) so there wasn't much space.



That meant a lot of pushing and shoving was required to reach the safety of the cavity.
