There is this tree far from home, with aura of colors and light.
It spells beauty, like magic that surmounts me and lives in my soul.
When the wind blows, it sings along the breeze with melodies that resonate to the valleys and waterways below.
Alone, but it spreads its branches in incommensurable patterns of affection, extending comfort all seasons long.
Under its shade I often rest, reflecting my failures of days gone by.
But the same tree shows its bark of imperfections, rhythmically peeling off for growth.
Indestructibly firm, it stands still on this vast plain and how it has mastered the earth is embossed by its surface roots.
Even with all of these, it submits to the pull of the universe, flaunting a gesture of great gratitude to the Creator.
