The last stop on our trek was Stok Palace, the second residence of the Ladakhi royal family after their original palace was besieged in the mid-19th century. It has an interesting collection of royal goodies in its storerooms (and yes, for all you Old Tibetan folks out there, this is the original home of the dread Stok Palace Kangyur manuscript...!)
