I spent 6 weeks working in Thailand as part of an ADAB (Australian Development Assistance Bureau) project with the Electricity Generating Authority (EGAT). It should have been 4 weeks except that not all the necessary paper work had been done. We were not allowed to leave the country. We spent 2 weeks on a paper chase. And that was fascinating.
