Well not really. In fact I don't know what variety of rose this is. Our good friend Sharon gave us this rose for looking after her cocker spaniel, Arksham, after he came out of quarantine following his arrival in Australia from the Netherlands.

i like the story that goes with this rose :) and i love late-summer roses, they are not as crisp as the first blooms, but they fall so soft on the eye, and they hang on for so long :) mathilda
