Statue by Walter Rössler
Rössler created it after the war- according to the description the pose of humbleness stands for the thankfulness that the yards were able to offer work during a very difficult time in the post war years. My personal interpretation is somewhat different- in my opinion the worker is humble because of his role in lenghthening the war
