The Loggerhead Shrike is a predatory songbird in this gallery you can see how closely the Shrike is related to raptors! Hear we have an adult presenting one of its fledglings with the leg of a bird! The adult then flies back in to give its other fledgling the head of a bird! I truly believe that Shrikes should be considered Raptors!
