Loggerhead Shrikes (Hunting and Impaling their prey) in pictures

In this gallery I will show the unusual behavior of this predator Song Bird. This little bird small in size but large in Attitude, the Loggerhead Shrike. Why does the Loggerhead Shrike impale its prey? The theory is that the Shrikes claws are to small to hold its prey while it eats therefor impaling serves the purpose!
