Blue- gray Gnatcatchers in flight!

The Blue-gray Gnatcatcher is just a bit larger than a hummingbird ( 4 to 5 in.) it never seems to stop moving. It works its way through the leaves flicking it's tail up and down in it's quest for various kinds of insects. It's grayish color and long tail and the fact that it mixes other bird songs into it's repertoire, with it's high nasal sound, has earned it the nickname "Little Mockingbird."
