Black-chinned building nest

Building began May 26th at 9AM about 20 ft. from my window where I took these photos. She was very meticulous and determined as she constructed the nest and after 50+ hours she sat on the nest around 2PM May 30th. Sadly the young did not survive. The female made hiccup motions for two days and evidently could not provide food for them.

This is the second nest for this female with one fledgling on May 10th.
