1928 and 1929 Auburns compared

The car on the left side is a 1928, the car on the right is my Grandfather's 1929,
they are very similar but there are some differences, the 28 model only has 2 side
windows, the 29 model has 3 on each side, the 28 model has wooden wheels, while the
family model has wire wheels. The 1928 has the same left side mounted spare as shown
on the 1929 model, and the bumpers are identical on both, they share the unusual
windshield design, these cars came with a Lycoming 247 cubic inch straight 8 engine
and Lockheed 4 wheel hydraulic brakes.
