Hello John, Ironically I was doing a search for a John A. Owens Contracting business that had advertised in the publication "Souvenir of Oregon Centennial" done in 1941 when your name popped up with the 2003 posting of the Wing Ding convention that the Oregon Chamber had hosted. I'm the President of the Oregon Library Board and we are partnering with the community to create an Oregon Area Community Book that picks up where the 1941 book left off. We would love to include a bit of history and photos of this Oregon event. Would you consider submitting photos with a brief (historical perspective) of the event for possible use in the book? Seeing the photos put a smile on my face. My kids & I loved the many stuffed animal riders! My teenage sons and I shared at a pic-nick table with the riders for a meal and the conversation was filled with laughter. I would think it would be a good memory worth preserving in the Oregon Area Community Book project. Hope to here from you, and please bring the Wing Ding riders back to Oregon in the future!

Kind regards, Lisa Hustad

Good site as I visit it every week.
You have a pic of a motor trike stallion.
Could you tell me where it was taken or could
you give my email address to those who built it,
as I would like to purchase one. Thanks

Hi John, Just wanted to say I enjoyed the pictures very much. It sure looks like you enjoy riding as muvh as I do or maybe more, HAHA...I have been across country on the Goldwing and really love riding. I just found one of your web sites and got some good info on CB tuning along with other interesting things. Take care and ride safe.

Hi John,

Just found this collection, or set of collections.

I like this much better than your other pics, ie this one does not open up new window for each picture, I have a button on my mouse programmed for oBack.

Great pics, thanks for sharing!

Jim
