This was an accident near my house.This truck was rear ended by another one.On impact his entire load shifted forward and went through the trailer,through the sleeper,and all the way out the front of the cab.The load consisted of cylinder shaped aluminum weighing over 300# each.
The driver of the truck walked away with minor injuries to his right hand/wrist.The load missed him by about 6".In pictures 14 and 15 you can see where his seat broke loose and rotated outward toward the door,moving him out of the way.
The night shots are about 5 hours after the crash.You can see most of the load as it was put on the flat-bed trailer.
