On Saturday, January 13, 2007, I attended yet another peace demonstration. For four years, the Women In Black of Metro Detroit have mounted a silent peace vigil every second Saturday of the month. It is held in different locations across the Metro Detroit area, and on this day, it was one mile from my house. The only sound during the WIB march is the drum that beats a steady rhythm to set the pace. Sometimes there are hecklers, but today all we got were honks in support of our message.
