another lovely hot day in San Diego

This morning I sat and read on Scott & Phil's patio. The trickle of water from their fountain mingled with the summer sounds of people working outside in the neighborhood. Even though today's temperatures climbed into the 90s F/30s C, it was pretty darn idyllic out in their garden.

Lovely. I can almost smell the dampness from the garden and the fountain. Perfect shutter speed for catching the falling water!
