Berlin seemed like a very strange city. It lost much of its past in the WW II bombings, and was then split into three parts - run by the US, UK, and Russia. The Western parts were rebuilt, while the Eastern part suffered. After the city was reunited, the rest of the rebuilding process started, and continues today. Each part of Berlin seems quite different from the next part. The teenagers in Berlin look a lot tougher than the kids in Hamburg. Photos Copyright (C) 2001 David A. Wilson. All rights reserved.
