There are rainy days, and then there are rainy days.

My wife caught this guy swimming up the street (yes, I typed that right) today in the middle of the fourth or fifth downpour of the day. We've had somewhere between 6 and 8 inches (15-20cm) today, and this was the worst of it.

He's safe in the old kiddie pool at the moment. Once the water goes down enough, we'll put him back near the little creek he probably came from.
