I found my old Soligor double track bellows that had been gathering dust for 25 years. |

Jatropa flower on my patio. I just learned why my pixs were not getting exif files, I was using PS option "save for web". |

This is a Skipper, but I am not sure which? It could be Neamathla, Swarthy, or after looking at Dun, could be that? I guess that is what makes them interesting, being hard to pin down. |
I think this is a Dun Skipper, at least that is what it looks like in my book. |
I was waiting on a Hummingbird shot and this dark butterfly was on a flower next to me. The first time I have ever noticed this species. Amazing the new things you notice when you try to ID them. I have probably seen them before but paid no attention. |

I dedicate this shot to Laurence Poh who just left us. May god look after him. |

I guess being hummingbird migration season on the Texas coast, I shoot a lot of hummer pixs. But they are a delightful subject. |
This is kind of low light shot, but he took off as I was shooting. |
Yesterday's adult male was replaced by a juvenile male. |
Taken in the late afternoon about 5:15 PM. The brokaw is the house next door, gray is the roof, white eaves, and reddish brick. I had to run out and wait without moving for about 10 minutes to take several shots then run in and get supper ready. |
Adding the extra feeder help these guys pose on a less leafy tree! |
 |
Ruby-Throated Hummingbird in my front yard. Dominent male. |
 |
 |
Todays shot caught him having supper. Cloudy and slight drizzle in Houston. |
OOPS! Put the wrong month on picture! After work, I went out to the front and sat until I found a target. |
 |
Today's shot, August 27, 2004. After work I sat in the front yard waiting...... |
I have been trying to shoot this Ruby-Throated Hummingbird for 2 weeks in my yard. I sat out and when he appeared, I got one shot. You can see the temperature on the thermometer behind him. |
