This is the top of the pass in Nepal where many trekkers died during an unexpected and severe snow storm on October 14, 2014. The last I heard there were 27 known dead and probably more. it looks harsh terrain, and vulnerable to mountain weather too...the count is currently (BBC) up to 29 and expected to rise further...a timely and stirring post...
