_MG_5387.JPG

The corner of 6th Avenue and 54th Street
I didn't bring my tripod on this trip so I improvised a camera support. From bottom to top: window ledge, ice bucket, small trash can and one of those carry-out beverage holders cradling the camera, using the self-timer in lieu of a remote shutter release.

Canon EOS 6D
8s f/5.6 at 17.0mm iso200 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Lol. I've used dresser drawers and the trash bucket as an improvised tripod. Nice results here, Will. Did you get a capture of your "tripod"?

Wow, just love the light here -- a superb image. Very clever support for the camera; I'm sure glad it held the camera safely. V.

scintillating shot...you certainly rose to the challenge...sounds like a precarious support tower yet it clearly worked well...V

Great exposure and the lighting is fantastic. Good photographers are the noes that can improvise to get the shot. "V"
