We went to a Georgia O’Keeffe exhibit at The Hyde Collection, a small museum in Glens Falls, New York that I knew nothing about until I read an article about the exhibit in The New York Times. Sadly, but understandably, photography is not allowed in the O’Keeffe exhibit. Art works are on loan from museums and private collectors from all over the country. After viewing the excellent O’Keeffe exhibit we looked through the rest of the museum, which turns out to be a small gem. Their collection is small, but obviously put together by a collector with a discerning eye. Happily, photography is allowed in the permanent exhibits.
