Photos in this gallery were taken during a photo tour led by Dave Wyman, davewyman.net, in early October 2011, to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. In all there were nine of us, mostly strangers, packed into a van for an entire week, with Dave pushing us to take full advantage of every minute of the day. We began our journey in Salt Lake City, Utah, and from there headed up through the backroads of Idaho to Wyoming and Montana, eventually finding our way back to Salt Lake City early on the following Sunday morning in time for our flights home.

I might mention that other than the first and last days of the trip, we were plagued with varying degrees of rain and snow showers, often hampering our ability to take pictures.
