Ominous Sky
I must have taken fifty photos of clouds that day. This was taken from the car, going about 60 mph.

Lewes-Cape May Ferry Pavilion From The Lewes Side
You can go in here while you are waiting for your ferry to depart for Cape May. They offer souvenirs (of course they do!), food, beverages and restrooms. It's actually very, very nice. The ferry trip across is approximately 70 minutes.

Red's Gull
Once again, taken from a very fast moving ferry. The cropping isn't what I'd preferred, but I'm lucky I 'caught' him at all! I like it because he's looking right at me!

Damariscotta Lake, Maine, USA
Taken in the evening, when the light was waning, especially beneath the woods! What a beautiful place. Peaceful and as private and quiet as it looks. What a wonderful first visit we had to this special place.

Damariscotta Lake, Maine, USA 2
I could have stayed there all summer. It was wonderful! This was taken late in the day, around dinner time (lobster bake!) when the light was leaving us. Visiting this wonderful place was worth every minute of the nine hour drive from our home in NJ.

Morning Plow
The mules, 'Sally' & 'Suzy', shown here with farm worker 'Debbie'. Debbie told me that she was preparing the earth for planting rye. This was a hard shot for a novice like me, because the sun was coming from an undesireable direction, and I certainly couldn't ask her to move. She was really plowing up the earth, so I did what I could. It's not as sharp as I'd like, either. I need some good glass!!
