Memorial Service at Salt Marsh Alliance for long-time Sierra Club activist and executive committee member Jack Hoyt on Sunday, August 2, 2009. Jack touched many in his community and inspired volunteerism at the Salt Marsh Alliance in Brooklyn, a city-funded nature education center at Avenue U and E 33rd St where this memorial service and nature walk were held. I knew Jack from the Sierra Club Atlantic Chapter executive committee for over 15 years, and will miss his thoughtful contributions, sense of humor.
