One day we took an excursion to Tangiers. This involved getting up very early in the morning so that we could catch the 9:00 Sea Cat ferry from Tafira to Tangiers. The guided tour involved a coach trip round Tangiers. The coach stopped at one point so that people could have a very short camel ride. We also took in a traditional Moroccan restaurant (belly dancer included).
We then went on a guided tour round the Medina which involved a stop to watch a snake charmer. There was a visit to a large store in the Casbah area and a herbal shop. All very interesting, if a bit unreal. It did provide a taste though and the guide did help to protect us from the hoardes of street vendors!
Because the guide didn't want to lose any of us, most of the pictures had to be taken whilst on the move. This was not easy.
