Babli (Hindi for naughty girl)

This little monkey (Bonnet macaque) was found in the Maikal hills through Baiga people. He had a little wound on his chin. They thought he was about 14 days old when they found him and they had him for 10 days. Our guide took her with him and he was looking advise how to take care of him. I have no idea wat her chances are. She will never be able to go back to the jungle and will not be that nice to people if she is growing up. But on this moment my wife and daughters liked to take care of her.

What a brilliant and cute gallery. Thank you for sharing. I've always had a soft spot for these wonderful creatures, but I've never held one....they look very affectionate.

I must tell you that I enjoyed your Gallery of this little Monkey so much. If you get a chance please look at a Gallery that I have with a Baby Green Monkey who was home raised. Its a Green Monkey. I don't know if yours is the same. I email the Carribean often and the one I held was Abandoned by it's Mom and was 12 weeks old at that time, and presently doing fantastic. So, I guess they can survive under the right conditions. I normally do not like to ask pbasers to view a Gallery of mine, but the Green Monkey is one of the sweetest animals I have had the pleasure of holding and feeding in my arms. Gallery Vote
