The second thing that Olympia is known for is its Brewery. It produced Olympia beer for around a hundred years. All of the major buildings are vacant and in forclosure. After a series of brewing companies purchased it, Miller shut it down and sold it to a water bottling company who went bankrupt. Around 450 people lost their jobs.
