One day in June 2007, when I was wandering around in Lhasa, I ran into 3 little orphans who were taking care of a small local tea house. Further conversations with them revealed a shocking story: a local Tibetan couple has adopted over 80 orphans over the past years. The main sources to cover all the costs were the profit from the tea house and donations from locals because it's a private and not-so-famous orphanage. I later went to their home and met the kids. I didn't take a lot of photos there.
