A traditional southern China funeral which took place in a small village in Zhejiang province. The ceremony went on from dusk to dawn including all types of activities from the relatives(in white) of the dead as well as people from the village(wearing white hat). Funeral profesionals, usually monks or Taoist priests with traditional Chinese musical instruments, were hired to lead and/or organize the ceremony. Permission was granted by the family to take photos. However, out of courtesy to the dead, only a small portion of the photos are shown here.
