The first official "WGRF" gathering was on April 22-24, 1966, in Cincinnati, with a "tour" (visit, really) at Sharonville, NYC's home to its Sharks and Limas, where Dr. Louis Marre knew Clyde Williams, the Sharonville enginehouse foreman. 26 men from 9 states, many from Detroit, attended.
