Swalwell's Sleazy Collapse: Even Pelosi Dumps the Creep Over Fresh Sexual Assault Bombshell
California Democrats are in full meltdown mode after a former staffer dropped a brutal accusation against Rep. Eric Swalwell: the married congressman sexually assaulted her twice while she was too drunk to consent, after chasing her with dick pics on Snapchat and pressuring her for sex when she was just 21 and working in his district office.
The San Francisco Chronicle laid it out in sickening detail, and the rats are fleeing the ship. Multiple senior staffers quit before the story even hit. Rep. Jimmy Gomez, Swalwell's own campaign co-chair, bailed instantly, calling the claims "the ugliest and most serious accusations imaginable" and demanding Swalwell drop out for "full accountability without doubt, distraction, or delay."
Even Nancy Pelosi—the queen of protecting her own—publicly urged Swalwell to exit the governor's race so the accuser can have her day outside the circus of a campaign. That's how toxic this guy is.
Swalwell, of course, denies everything and whines it's all a last-minute hit job timed for the primary. Sure, buddy. Just like he denied the whole Chinese spy Fang Fang sleeping-with-the-enemy fiasco until it blew up in his face. This is the same clown who lectured America on ethics while cozying up to communists and now stands accused of preying on a young female staffer under his power.
His campaign is imploding, endorsements are evaporating, and rival Democrats are piling on, telling him to get lost. Good. California doesn't need another sleazy, power-abusing Democrat turning the governor's mansion into a personal hunting ground.
Swalwell isn't just unfit for governor—he's unfit for Congress. Time for this entitled hack to slink away for good. The hypocrisy from his own party stinks, but at least they're finally admitting what everyone else has known: Eric Swalwell is a walking scandal who belongs nowhere near leadership.
