BREAKING: Jayapal Panics: “DOJ Is Spying on Congress!” After Getting Busted by Pam Bondi’s Epic Trap

Rep. Pramila Jayapal is in full meltdown mode, desperately accusing the Trump administration’s Department of Justice of “spying” on members of Congress and everyday Americans—right after she got played like a fiddle by Attorney General Pam Bondi.

In a frantic video clip that’s blowing up online, Jayapal unleashes a tirade, sounding more paranoid than principled:

Rep. Pramila Jayapal: "The Department of Justice is spying on members of Congress. And let me just say if they’re spying on members of Congress, what are they doing to you, the American citizen? The person out there that has your files; if you don’t agree with them, we already know that they’re trying to get your data through healthcare records, through driver’s licenses. They’re trying to demand and tell Minnesota that we’re not going to pull ICE and CBP agents out unless you share voter information, right? We already know that they’re trying to get our personal information. So my guess is, yeah, they’re spying on members of Congress and probably on people across this country.

And this has been a bipartisan issue, right? I’ve worked on this around intelligence surveillance, what’s called FISA, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, and I’ve actually worked in a bipartisan way with people like Jim Jordan and Andy Biggs and Scott Perry and others to stop that surveillance because I don’t care. I don’t think the Department of Justice or any government agency should be spying on us. That’s completely outrageous.”

Translation? Jayapal’s suddenly a privacy warrior—only after Bondi calmly dropped a printout of her own search history from the Epstein files database during a House Judiciary hearing. The “burn book” moment exposed exactly what Jayapal (and likely other Dems) were digging into while pretending to oversee the DOJ. No consent, no heads-up—just logged access in a secure system they all agreed to use.

Bondi didn’t “spy”—she used standard logging to reveal the hypocrisy. Democrats demanded access to unredacted Epstein docs, got it under controlled conditions (including activity logs for security), then freaked when their own curious searches got called out. Now they’re screaming “abuse of power” and demanding investigations—after years of cheering surveillance when it targeted their political enemies.

Classic projection. Jayapal and her crew thought they could hunt for dirt on Trump allies or whoever in those files without consequences. Bondi flipped the script, and now they’re scrambling, claiming “separation of powers” violations while ignoring how eagerly they’ve backed FISA abuses and warrantless spying in the past.

The irony is delicious: The same party that weaponized government agencies against conservatives is now crying foul when the tables turn. Bondi masterfully let them walk right into it—no tricks, just transparency they couldn’t handle.

Panic level: Maximum. Game, set, match to Pam Bondi. Democrats got got—and the American people are watching.
