What an amazing Gallery! Diverse, creative.... culture contrasted with nature... Traffic flows are one of my early endeavors, and I know a little about the bugaboos involved. I think only LA commuters can grasp the vicious bitter-sweetness of a traffic flow frozen in an artful moment that clears all the cars from the freeways.

Shooting long exposures and HDR photography had always been something I longed for learning, but was always placed on the back burners for years. I knew one day after collecting the required setup and reading about it enough, it would slowly but surely happen. But I didn't know it would happen in one evening, and in the most amazing and magical way! By absolute chance, I got the opportunity to meet and learn from an amazing photographer and instructor, and within just a few hours, I saw the light! I composed my first ever long exposure combined with HDR photograph! I know there is so much more to learn and improve on, but I just can't help but share this excitement! I looked at your galleries and am very inspired by your work. I'm in several meetup photo groups in the Detroit area and your galleries have sent me on an exploration into the long exposure world. Hi William, My wife and I met you and your group at Quechee Gorge on 4 October. Not sure where we were since we were on the bus headed back to Georgia from our New England trip. You took some pictures of us with the Gorge in the background. I love your photos! When I was young and in the Air Force, I was a Black and White enthusiast using the base's darkroom. What fun to meet you last evening, May 6, 2013, at the tunnel in Yosemite Valley viewing Bridalveil Falls. Your photos are certainly a joy to behold!!! You spoke of sending us a photo of the falls last nite at sunset. We went over and saw Yosemite Falls from the bridge to return this morn for sunrise and a possible rainbow in the mist...too cloudy tho. That photo will have to wait for another visit. It was so lovely at Point Lobos today. I enjoyed meeting you and seeing some of your photographs on your phone. Thanks for taking the time to show us that special "ghost tree" where you took our photo. Elliott and I will look forward to getting a copy. By the way, the restaurant Rocky Point was closed for cleaning. We went into Carmel for.lunch instead and then went back to Point Lobos. You look like you have a lot of fun with your camera tour groups. If we ever meet someone who might like to do this, we will remember to refer to you. shayna

They can also enjoy Route 66 Mother Road Museum, Rail Road Museum & Mojave River Valley Museum. They are open on the weekend only. Calico Ghost town. Barstow's lovely weather and clean air. Hi, William. This is Ruben, Judi and Lucky. Remember us? I almost fell over the clift at the Tunnel at your instruction? Just kidding! My pictures turned out beautiful! It was worth the time to wait for that complete sunset. However, the pictures I took up at Glazier Point turned out almost colorless. We shot them around midday. Is there something I could have done to get more color in my pictures? I'm referring to the ones that we took at a distance. The closeups were fine. If you want I can send you some of the pictures that turned out beautiful at the Tunnel and some of the ones that turned out lacking color at Glazier Point. Awsome Y.National Park images!...I live ajoining the Foothills Parkway, a senic drive in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in TN. My images here are of GSMNP and you have to see the habitat I accidentially created for Anole Lizards in my garden. Gourley Gardens, or Private Paradise. Need to renew my account, enjoy working on Pbase. These tropical lizards are seen mosely in the southeast and the tropical islands. They don't get frozen in our TN cold winters.

Hi William Rob here, What a challenging day we all had on our “Coastal Adventure Moonlight Walk Workshop .” I think Diane; our Adventure organizer named this day. August 23, 2010 Just to let everyone know William, took us to places I’ve I have always been aware of and have viewed from a boat looking at the land mass but never visited by car with a camera. The Magazine Westways published by the Automobile Club AAA has written articles about some of the places we visited Our 35 mile Adventure took us from Redondo Beach Pier through the Palos Verdes Hills with several private view photo opportunities which are not accessible to the public. Then on into San Pedro and later to Long Beach, Shoreline Village, Shoreline offered changeling photo opportunities due to the light transition during the beginning of the rising moon and later the setting sun over the Desmond bridge, then the light after the sun had set.Shoot Parker Light house, Rainbow Lagoon Lighthouse and the Queen Mary. I’ve looked at t my pictures with the meta data for the second time to better understand some of the techniques/lessons you presented to all of us. Thank You & Dana for the Coastal Adventure.
