I do believe that the structure being build to the right of the old Cathedral was the official residence of the Oblates Missionaries and Notre Dame of Jolo grade school campus was to the left. I studied there in the early '60s.
This is Plaza Rizal, downtown Jolo. The church is now bigger and taller. Part of Notre Dame can be seen on the right side of the photo. The Rizal statue is still standing there up to this time. It has been a witness to the brutal skirmishes in the 70s between the rebels and the military.
