I was in Baguio in 1944-45 as a 10 year old, when the americans started to bomb Baguio,I remember that a lot of people fled to the church seeking safety from the bombs, eventually we had to flee and hide in the mountains till the americans landed in the P.I.
I can still smell the pine trees when driving to Babuio on the zigzag road,to me Baguio will always remain a beautiful place.

i,m glad somebody out there was able to capture pics of Baguio then bringing back good
wonderful memories. pic of John Hay Air Base gate is just a stone throw from our house
and Baguio Station (now demolished) where i use to sell gums and candies when i was 8 yrs. old. A MILLION THANKS BILL FOR SHARING THESE WONDERFUL PICS. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR

So nice to see old pictures of Baguio, thank you. Everyting seem so quiet and peaceful. Though its not the same as it was before, the city still has its unique qualities. I would have loved to be in this place at this time. Once again great gallery.
