Strikes of the Light

I get a lot of people ask how to take lightening shots, so here you go.
Shoot in Manual mode, adjust to Bulb setting, shoot Manual focus and focus where you need. ISO 100 or 200 depending on the light. Set f8 to f16 depending on the situtation.
Click, leave the shutter open and wait for the strikes, then unclick.
Of course this works for night only.

Good lightning photos. You have found good foreground for these photos. There is many lightnings photos just about the lightnings and dark sky but it's always really good to have nice foreground =) See my lightnings and nature photos here:http://www.pbase.com/whig/
