Today my Aunt Wanda and I went to a spot she new had some owls.
This is one of the 3 Juvenile Great Horned Owls we saw and photographed.
It was a great time!

Beautiful shot, the filtered light is perfect here for feather detail and the highlight in the eyes is great.

PS - Maybe you should have a talk with your aunt and let her know it OK to post pictures that aren't perfect compared to Bill's, he's a tough act to follow. It's still fun to post what you get and see what people think.

Awwww, isn't he cute? I just loved watching all the owls with you tonight Wes. Thanks for coming with Me. Now I wanna see the one where it looks like the owl is cussing! I can hardly wait to see the rest of your images. I don't think any of the ones I took turned out worthwhile. (frown) Too bad Bill couldn't be there to give it a shot.
