Capitol Reef National Park

After I got my BACKPACKER magazine yesterday,
I had a craving for some red rock.
When I woke up I saw this picture BY BRYAN, so I had to make the 2 1/2 hr drive to Capitol Reef.
I was hoping the Cottonwood trees would be yellow,
but I think a it needs a couple more weeks.
I will try to make it down again after I get back from Mexico.

Sorry the trees weren't red, but the image is gorgeous just as it is. I like the soft water contrasting with the sharp lines of the cliffs against the blue sky.

Bryan did very well, and you did excellent too. I like the slow motion of the water, it's like silk for the eyes. Lots of dof and contrasts. Great job, hope your feet are forgiving you.
