Went hiking tonight with Wanda, and I packed my monopod this time. However it still isn't the best thing for water shots. I guess I will just have to pack the old tripod still.

Oops, I hit refresh and posted the same message again. feel free to delete.

Thanks for the reply Wes, That explanation makes more sense than what I was thinking, I was picturing an old lady jumping up and down waiting for the toilet, and couldn't figure out why Wanda wanted to flush the toilet while looking at this image.

"Bouncy Grandma's Ambience machine"
Bouncy Grandma is what she was known as, cause she had the trampoline, my grandma, but Wandas mom. The ambience machine was a crystal ball with lights on it that played the sounds of nature. To me it wasn't relaxing but more annoying since the wonderful sounds of nature came out of a small P.O.S. speaker. :)

This is a lovely image with or without the frame, but what the heck is a "Bouncy Grandma's Ambience machine"?

Great shot Wes! And I happened to LOVE The frame! Remember what we were talking about on our hike? How every image is different to everyone and how beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. For Me, I like the way the frame has texture to it just like the tree trunk. I think I'll turn on Bouncy Grandma's Ambience machine while viewing this image, that way I can hear the same sounds I heard when took this picture.

Thanks for hiking with Me. Love you!

Beautiful peaceful shot. Personally, I think the frame is a bit overpowering, but the image itself is superb

no ND filters, it was getting dark enough that I didn't have to break them out.

Wow...beautiful! Love the cottony whisp of the falls. You've captured this quite nicely. Did you use any ND filters for this shot?
