I'm glad you typed a comment about what's going on. When I first looked at this shot I thought he'd had enough of her and it was time to cut her loose and let her fall.

This must happen all the time. Many years ago my girlfriend and I were starting a 100' free rappel of the third (I think) Flatiron outside Boulder. Even though she had her hair in a pony tail to avoid tangles, she managed to get it caught between the rope and the breaker bar on the carabiner. Fortunately it happened right at the start of the rappel, and we were able to untangle her. This is a great capture. Jeff doesn't look like he's roped in.
