You're truly in a class of your own.
Hi Richard: This is Don and Jane Janes from Sarnia, Ont. We met in Newfoundland at Rocky Harbour B&B and then again in St.John's. Just wondering how your trip went and if you and Joel had a good time. Haven't seen your Newfie photos posted here yet. Anyway if you have that shot of the 4 of us in the bar in St.Johns we would like a copy for our collection. It was good meeting you and maybe our paths will cross again someday.
Don & Jane Janes and

nice shots. I like your use of natural light pictures it adds a nice element to all your shots. Good use of light and shadow too. We have almost the same camera so i can see where you are coming from check out my gallery www.pbase.com/ta11guy3
Dick, We just found your website, via your provided URL. We've been browsing through it and find your topics most interesting. We were particularly astounded with your photos of Victoria Park. I was amazed at your ability to capture the natural lighting in the way that you did. I haven't seen many photos of that caliber. They are wonderful models for any would-be photographer to follow. Thanks for sharing them with us. Dean & Gail
Although we live in the West Island of Montreal, we have a vested interest in Nova Scotia as we have family and friends living in the Juan devastated areas - some are still without power and running water.
One way we've stayed informed is through ATV and CBC East via satellite TV. We are also getting news and updates from family and friends, of course.
It was a friend that lives in Truro that sent me the URL for your pictures.
Having been in some of the areas such as Victoria Park I find it sad to see the damage done to what was such a serene, beautiful place to wander through.
Heres hoping the recovery will be as 'swift' as last springs flooding
