Koch-de Geer

Mural by Jan Isdeman
The original painting is made by Pyke Koch.
He painted his wife and made a famous artwork.
I saw this painting in the Central Museum in Utrecht and was astonished of the beauty.
And than you see it on a wall, perfect.

The wall painting is 8meter high

I was thinking the same thing as John, the green sunlit leaves frame the work so nicely.

You captured the soul of the mural. Excellent how the greens compliment the reds and makes it a balanced view. The artwork itself is fabulous too. V
