30: today/yesterday

Saw this little stone somewhere in a corner at the industrial museum of the former coal mine and brickyard 'Zeche Nachtigall'.
Somehow it was the biggest contrast I found this month for me, though you canīt see but only feel it.
Not sure how to define working class heroe. Is it really more than an illusion from the past that has changed into a phrase of today?
Anyway there must have been a contrast, a change of awareness for someone who did this years ago, when they closed the factory.

For others taking part in this monthīs 'contrast' challenge:

would be a heritage quote from the seventies from the Beatles, I don't think the German miners would define themselves in English, aber du weisst das Werner
nevertheless a great find and composition

Yes, it is a pity, there are things that shouldn't change!

A powerful image and message. Despite the bright light, it makes me sad because I think it's true. V.

Yes, it is very sad. But if you think of it in the context of war, (never happening) it could be wonderful.
